Attractive Ambassadors

attractive ambassadorsThe beautiful fragrance of a flower draws us in for a deeper inhale. In the same way, we draw people to the Father by our heavenly smell.

They see our compassion for the hurting. They see us make the hard decision to be honest by speaking truth in love. They witness our warmth with those who have plenty and those who are in want.

We have power and influence to woo people to our Savior by what we say and do. How are you treating your spouse, children, parents, coworkers, and those who wait on you in stores and restaurants?

You are chosen by God to be an attractive ambassador as you reflect His kingdom as His child. With an intimate relationship with Christ, surrendered to the Holy Spirit living in us, God uses us to bring the hope of heaven here to earth.

Promise from God: We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God (2 Corinth. 5:20).

Thank you, Lord, for choosing us to be Your ambassadors, for the privilege and honor to represent You. Thank you that it’s not about us striving, but instead surrendering to Your Spirit. Thank you that as we seek You in prayer we can trust that You will guide and direct our path. Give us wisdom and words to say as we humble ourselves to You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit power. Fill us with Your overwhelming joy. Fill us with a radiant reflection of Your love and glory to those in our homes, workplace, and community today. May people be reconciled to You because of Your powerful presence in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How has God used you to draw people to Him?
